This past month has been filled with exciting news!
Firstly, after receiving offers of representation for my novel from a few agents, I am now officially signed with Alyssa Jennette at Stonesong Literary! I am so grateful that she found me through my #PitMad pitch, and I believe she will be an incredible advocate for my work.
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsI couldn’t be happier to be working with Patric. His novel is a deeply nuanced study of history—and who is allowed to write it—through the lens of privilege, race, and survival, and I can’t wait for you to read it. https://t.co/pqeooNN8qn

Secondly, I moved to the Twin Cities to begin my fellowship at the Playwrights’ Center! It’s been such a joy exploring Loring Park, Lake of the Isles, the Walker Art Center, and Magers & Quinn Booksellers (and that was just this week!) I feel so honored to have the opportunity to spend this year concentrating on my writing.
While I’m here, I’ll also be stage managing Yvette Nolan’s “The Unplugging” at New Native Theatre, and reconnecting with my grandmother’s roots in Rondo, Saint Paul.
Stay tuned for more updates on my fellowship year!
