Happy New Year! I had such a wonderful holiday with loved ones, split between my family and Jordan (my better half’s). Got to make gingerbread people from scratch for the first time ever and reprise my Grandma’s signature dinner rolls  after whipping up a batch for Thanksgiving.

This break was barely a break because I was determined to write, and write I did! On my train ride back from Syracuse to Boston, I completed a solid draft of a play that I began on the plane to LA. I am excited about this new piece, as it speaks to many of my anxieties and insecurities of being a mixed race American. Hopefully it strikes a chord with others as well.

I have a few more exciting projects brewing, some that I can hopefully announce soon! 2019 hasn’t kept me busy!
